 | The Barrel Room would like to welcome Jack Tanksley as our new wine consultant. With over twenty years in the food and wine industry he brings along his experience as a chef and former Vice President of Sales for Fetzer Vineyards in the Southeastern US. Jack believes pairing the right food with wine can make the experience even more enjoyable and is ready to assist you in making your selection one you will value highly. In addition to his years as a chef and developing his discerning pallet in the wine business, Jack hosted, for four years, a wine and food radio show in Miami, Florida called "The Good Life." So please come in and take advantage of a new Barrel Room resource and let Jack make your wine purchases and adventures in pairing food and wine ones you'll want to repeat. Jack will be available Fridays and Saturdays from around 3:00 - 8:00 PM. He keeps a few treats hidden in the back so if you don't see something you like, ask Jack and we may just have it for you in the back. Kilikanoon produces some of South Austrailias best wines. All receiving ratings from 90 to an astounding 99 points from Robert Parker.
The styles of red wines include Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Shiraz Grenache, etc... The Barrel Room is excited that we have been allocated a generous portion of these highly sought after wines. However, there is a limited availability so you need to act fast.
